ice cream with 2021 poem toppings

i thought i knew you 

but it was all a lie

i found you at my lowest 

you were hidden under a disguise 

i was in the dark for so long

i convinced myself you were the answer 

the answer to all my worries and the 

answer who could save me 

you were nothing but a broken 

dish that i yearned to put back together 

in hopes that in the process

i could be repaired as well

but you did more damage than good 

i shattered into a million pieces 

while you glow all together again
